Why I'm Here

I am a singer/songwriter, artist, photographer, seamstress, and mother of 2 beautiful daughters. I would love to own a lute and try out a sitar. I love playing electric and would love to have a 7 string someday. I also need a 12 string acoustic! Right now I am thankful that I even have an electric. It’s a Squier Jaguar that I had rebuilt so I could chug! These days I am mostly playing my Dean acoustic.

Getting better at guitar is important to me so I can be a better song writer. The few lessons that I had in highschool were basically: I would bring a CD. The teacher would pick a song and show me what the chords were on my electric (mostly dropD) and how to play them (mostly chugging and fast picking). I would go home and practice. I missed out on theory. From the skills I learned from that, I wrote a bunch of melodic hard-core songs. I have been playing guitar for many years and I'm writing mostly acoustic based songs now. I have a lot to learn!
