Why I'm Here

I’ve had a guitar since I was a kid. Took lessons and learnt the basics. The guitar was second to sports and only got played occasionally. In my 40’s I decided to get into it and see if I could take my ability to another level other than beginner. I achieved intermediate status and then stagnated. I started a new job and the guitar got shelved for twenty years. Two years ago I discovered online guitar lessons and have taken the guitar up again – this time with a vengence. I have two acoustic Larivee’s that I play and enjoy immensly. My genres are bluegrass, blues, classic rock, country and folk.

It's a personal challenge. I want to see where my playing ability lies. I didn't think I would get to the level I'm at now. It's an awareness for me to play a tune like the artist does. I've gotten to appreciate them more.
