I started on March 11 and I’m just finishing my first 5 day challenge and although I have spent several days on a specific lesson, I’m still having a great time learning. As a recovering Drummer, my 2025 resolution was to learn guitar this year and I’m doing it. On most days with my “Morning Coffee Anchor” I’m showing up and learning something new and really enjoying it so hang in there and remind yourself that you are learning how to play the guitar.

Hey Artie, I am feeling the same way as you. I started 2 1/12 week ago and and I’m now just getting to The Cords section. I’ve been trying to get the Blues Boogie down for several days and I’m really enjoying learning but I’m going to move on. I’m 63, an ex-drummer but I’m going to trust the process. Thanks for your post. It’s good to know that I’m not the only one out there feeling the same way. Carpe Diem!!

Thanks Pete. I’m going to also extend my practices to my morning Anchor to an evening practice just so I can retain my skills. thank you for your advice, it’s a huge help!

Thanks for the advice. I will go back and hit the skills course so I can get back up to speed and get into the Daily Challenges. Thanks again!

Thanks for the encouragement. I’m not getting frustrated even when I’m sucking at a new challenge. I am really enjoying this journey. I turn 64 this summer and as an ex-drummer I decided this year I was going to learn the guitar. Thanks again for the help.
