Starting over AGAIN at age 68. Always wanted to play guitar, but no real success. Got my first six string at age 15 and tried to learn from books. (Had no money for lessons)  Frustration set in quickly as I was going nowhere.  Tried briefly again in college with similar results. Took another swing in the early 90’s (after the invention of the VCR) with predictable results. Pretty much decided it was hopeless. Twelve years ago I tried again, broke down and paid that $100 a month for private lessons and bought some DVD courses. Better, but after two to three years, I still couldn’t say I could actually play “a song.” So now I start once more hoping this time for a different result. I still really want to play the blues.
