About Me

I’ve started playing the piano when I was around 7 or 8 and picked up playing the drums in my teens. During my early 20’s I started messing around with keyboards and recording and added latin percussion to my studies (mostly bongos and congas).  I got into UCLA in the Enthnomusicology program but all the music theory started making my head spin and I moved on to Anthropology and studying how music impacts culture as I continued to play just for me.  5 kids later and moving into corporate IT jobs music seemed to fade into the back ground sadly.  But it has come back to life in my kids watching them do choir and pick up instruments has made me so proud to see their commitment and passion for creating music.  I’ve always wanted to learn the guitar and so here I am and it’s been so fun to get back to playing music and learning something new.
