| Why I'm Here |
I retired about 2 years ago  and have engaged in a lot of hobbies that I am passionate about like bicycling, hiking, skiing, golfing, dancing  and now guitar playing. Anyway, I love to try challenging new things and wow, the guitar is definitely one of the most challenging new things I have ever given a go at. It’s a little like learning to play golf. You can spend your whole life trying to master it or just swing away and have fun. I have been swinging away at it for about 3 months.  That said, it’s always a good idea to get help from those in the know when you are learning something new and that is why I joined TAC and have been very pleased with Tony’s lesson content and the guitar community that surrounds and supports it.
The guitar I play is a Zager ZAD50CE that I am currently upgrading to a ZAD80CE. Denny Zager is guitarist who wrote and performed the one hit wonder “year 2525. He then went on to  build custom guitars beginning in 1969. Zager guitars are designed to be as good as the Martins, Gibsons and Taylors (ect) but with easy to play and  less expensive attributes.  40 years later Zager guitars are custom built in Nebraska and sold exclusivley online. I love my guitar and anyone who has ever picked it up that actually knows how to play says it is as good as anything they have in their quiver. And no, I am not trying to promote or sell Zager guitars but if you like something, you might as well let others know who may want to know.

It will prove you that there are no limits to what I can do if I choose to dedicate myself to doing it. That applies to just about anything…
