I live in Florida and have 3 guitars: a mahogany Taylor 322e, an Ibanez classical and a vintage Harmony electric from 1965 which my husband restored. My other passion, besides my husband and my guitars, is horses. My best equine friends are a Quarter Horse mare named Lexi and her companion, a feisty donkey named Malachi. I started playing guitar when I was 10 or 11 and stopped playing in my late 20s. I started playing again about 5 years ago. I also enjoy writing, reading, watercolor painting and cooking.

I really enjoy playing – it is a wonderful way to relax and escape the daily stresses of life. I need structure and discipline and new challenges – I become bored easily. I want to be better so I can comfortably play in front of others and share the gift of music.
