Thank you! I already see bits and pieces coming together that a few days before baffled me. Not even close to blisters or calluses yet so apparently I have that to look forward to. Yes, I agree – pretty amazing to be starting this when I honestly had no strong pull to learn to play the guitar – ever. In the last year – and I’m newly retired – I thought, might be nice to sit around playing a guitar for fun. I shopped knowing nothing and just jumped in – wondering if I’m really going to like this or not and surprised and happy to find that it might be the perfect fit for my personality and ways I like to spend time. Thank you again!

Thank you! Life is a bit complicated – so haven’t been able to spend the time untangling some of what I don’t understand – so I just keep repeating what I’ve learned that I like to hear until I can open up the computer again. I’m so glad that I purchased the guitar! I can see with Tony’s course and support that it’s just what I need. Just yesterday, I started to understand the beginning lessons in the 30 days. Seems like a book would be helpful to see – read about – on paper – what he’s saying in the lesson. Because I honestly knew absolutely nothing about a guitar before I purchased a the guitar just a few weeks ago – frets – cords – tabs – music sheets etc, it’s like another language. I’m confident I’ll learn it but wondering if there is a book I could read or look at that would show a good beginner overview of tabs, strings, cords, and the very beginning of how it all works. Tony’s GREAT, just wanting to read and see some about what he’s saying to support my understanding. A book by Tony would ideal – because his style is exactly what I need – but anything might help – if I could just have it in my hands when I can’t stop to open up the computer. I’ve flipped back and forth from the video lessons to some of the materials I find but it’s a bit cumbersome if I only have a few moments. I can always carry a simple book around and pick it up when there’s a couple minutes. I retired a couple years ago and life got real busy in another way taking care of my Dad – the important work of life. Thanks again for the support – I’ll get this!

Wow – clearly more ahead on my guitar learning journey. Starting with the 30 days and determined to figure it out. Thank you for your support! 🙂

Thank you! I’m completely new. I decided it sounded nice to be able to sit around and play guitar one day and finally just went and bought a guitar without ever having held one. I just looked through the first few lessons of the 30 days to play and got to the part where I have to place my fingers to play? G? have no idea… definitely new!! Anyway -challenging to get my fingers to bend that way but I know it’s possible, just haven’t figured it out yet. Thank you for your reply – sounds like a good plan. 🙂
