I maintain 72 degrees inside…I strive for 50 % humidity…when my humidity goes up my strings go sharp I have to re tune down as they are sharp…when my humidity goes down my strings go flat I have to re tune up as they are flat…been this way for years…I live in West Tennessee between Memphis and Nashville…

Well you may already know this one…but for years I made my G as follows I still gravitate towards it…I place my pointer on the A string 2nd fret…my middle on the top E string 3rd fret (6 string) and my ring finger on the bottom E string 3rd fret (1 string) and use my pinky for hammer ons etc. on the B string 3rd fret…

I’ve just joined 12/11/24…you have a great question…I would like to hear the replies…I’ve been playing on and off since 1979, but my life got in the way of my playing for so many years…I’m retired now and have the time and motivation to start a new with TAC…I subscribe to ultimate guitar too…so far I’m enjoying this…I get all the songs I want on ultimate guitar and all the lessons here on TAC…play on man…

In summer months I sometimes run my dehumidifier and in winter months I keep my cool mist humidifier going 24/7…I have 1 room dedicated to my guitars…this is minimal effort to protect my guitars investments…great thread here you guys…
