| Why I'm Here |
I started playing guitar about thirty years ago after seeing my first Van Halen concert My friends started playing before me but I couldn’t afford a guitar, hair spray,or the fashion wear lol.  My first guitar was sold to me by my first guitar teacher Alan Grundy who had a CD called Beyond Manchester.  The guitar was an Aspen 197Xwhich had a naturual finish and clear pickguard and can be seen if you google Aspen 197x  guitar-museum.com.  First things I learned on that Aspen were some scales, Roy Orbinsons  Oh pretty Woman and Led Zepplin Over the hills and far away.  Over the years I’ve learned so much but amazed by how much there is still to learn

Getting  better at guitar for me is important because I want to learn more and expand on ideas and songwriting .  I've always found it fascinating  when you hear a solo artist sing a song on an acoustic guitar.  I sometimes think the beauty of songwriting is the part know one ever sees.
