Why I'm Here

Retired Army officer trying to become worthy of my fine instruments.  I bought my first guitar in 1982–a Carlos all mahogany dread.  I never had time to play it much and, when my Daughter started taking the violin seriously, I decided that I couldn’t work that hard at my guitar. I set it down for many years.  I picked it back up in 2012 and started gathering guitars that “make you want to play”.

I now have grandchildren.  I want them to love music and one way to do that is to let them hear it and see that I love it.  I love playing when they are around and seeing the delight that live, unamplified music brings.
