Why I'm Here

I started playing 3 years ago when my wife bought me a series of 4 lessons at our local music school MSoM. I fell in love instantly and quickly traded in a loaner Yamaha for a Breedlove Oregon Concert Series AE. One of my favorite things about playing is that I’m exposing my 3 young children to the world of music. My 6 year old got her first guitar a month ago!

Playing for just 3 years I'm stuck in a rut. I can play all of the open chords and I can play a few songs but I'm not "making" music, I want to have my guitar produce awesome music not just the sound of a middle aged guy hammering out open chords. I want to fill my house with music.
