Let me know if anyone would like to learn the song and I can post the lyrics and chords. Pretty easy – just E Bm and A with a little run up from E to A and a few hammer on’s.

very nice performance!

Kinga,
So much great advice already and maybe this was already touched on. What struck me was your statement regarding learning to play the guitar…… “I have not managed to learn it”.
I would encourage you to change your mental model about your learning goal. I was at an open mic a few days ago and a person said “I cant really play the guitar but here is a song I wrote”. And then they played their song that had at least 4 or 5 standard chords along with some chord voicing I was not familiar with but it sounded great. Most popular music is the same 4 or 5 chords. I was just listening to Ray Wylie Hubbard and 2 of his most popular songs have 1 chord in the whole song (E). So what does it even mean to “learn the guitar”.
1) Maybe identify a few songs you want to play and focus just on those.
2) My own breakthrough was keeping a guitar on a stand in the living room where I picked it up 2 – 3 times a day and just strummed a chord. Muscle memory is an amazing thing.
Hang in there and keep strumming !

@Guerra6007 Thanks ! New things for me in this album are learning to play harmonica, learning to play with a pic, playing the piano and improving my picking and sing writing. Hopefully each effort keeps advancing ! so grateful for all the support from the TAC community!

@Guerra6007 Thanks for listening. I put the first draft of this song out to the TAC community a year ago when I was trying to figure out instrumentation and got a lot of great input on how much harmonica and where to place it in the song. So the TAC folks have their fingerprints on this one!

@Guitargeezer-Jack Thanks for listening! I have learned so much over the past couple of years in TAC. I was able to play more complex guitar parts on this album, and learned how to use a pic which brightened up the guitar recordings. Another single will be release in a few weeks (Bad Scotch for a Good Man) and then the album comes out 5/19.

the new version has even more fun stuff going on with congas, some more guitar licks and funky bass. coming along nicely!
-
@stevieblues Thanks for listening – it is fun to play and I and the Fretboard wizard classes and daily challenges have boosted my confidence in adding little guitar riffs to make it more interesting.
-
@That_Guy I need to get those guitar tracks tightened up and get a better drum track to keep it “grovin”😎!
-
Thanks @albert_d for listening. I am leaning towards recording it. It is fun to play and is a balance to many of my other songs that tend to be of a more serious note. More work to do to tighten it up.

@Truckin-On Thanks for listening. It was just a quick recording to get something down. I will start putting down real tracks next week after playing a bit more with instrumentation ideas. It is really fun to play and a good exercise for me in fingerpicking a melody line within a song.
