Why I'm Here

I’m 65 years young  and my wife bought  me a Yamaha FG800 2 years ago.  I play everyday. My family chuckles  as I havent learned any songs yet other than Amazing Grace.  I struggle with writing so this is a challenge and learning experience as well.

I really enjoy playing and learning more about music. I'm starting to developed a fondness for bluegrass.I really enjoy the calming effect of playing when I've had a stressful day at work.

My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

I hope I’m saying this the right way . My goal is to learn walking up or down into chord changes as I’m strumming . another goal would be to start moving up and down the neck and not staying in my comfort zone of the first 3 frets.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

I will play everyday doing the daily lessons for 5 days  always ending on something I enjoy playing for fun… improvizing…  Taking time to try and sing at the same time and continue to work on a song for my wife..

  • I will play in the morning before work since I’m a morning person.
  • I will play in my livingroom or out in my mancave(the garage)
