    Hey Chad!

I would definitely recommend connecting with others here in the forums, so congrats on diving in!

Whether celebrating wins, asking advice on topics, or other support. I think this resource is a huge advantage for TAC over other online learning options.

I’ve only been here for 3 weeks and have had great experiences.

All the best on your journey here!

    Hey Gordon!

Congrats on completing the 30 Day Challenge! I just hit Day 16 and I’m looking forward to hitting that 30 Day mark myself!

I’ve been trying to pace myself initially. Short sessions, but making sure I play every day.

I’m returning to guitar after many years of not playing. For me, this 30 Day Challenge is more about building the routine. Once that’s in place, I will take more on each day.

Congratulations again! I wish you continued success here at TAC!

Thank you all for your kind words of support!

While the content of the TAC program is truly amazing, the community is even more powerful.

I look forward to signing in each day, taking on the challenge and connecting with others who share this passion 🎸

Hey GerryB56! Thank you for those suggestions!

You are describing my experience and motivation for joining perfectly. Having an “appointment” to play and a community to connect with is making all the difference.

I recognize it’s been only a few days, but today, for example, I couldn’t play at my normal time because of family commitments. However, I still squeezed a session later on to stay on track.

I can assure you I would have just skipped today in the past.

Being “all in” here creates an accountability that feels positive. It’s, dare I say, FUN to play 🎸

Thank you again for sharing your experience! Looking forward to more positive sessions ahead 🙂

Hey Kitman! Nice to meet you!

I’ve been sticking to the 30 day challenge content, so I had not seen Flatpicking Jumpstart.

Thank you for pointing that out!

    Much appreciated 🙂

    Hey jumpinjeff!

I suspected this was a matter of practice and repetition. Thanks for the heads up on the 5 day course though! I’ll check those out and flag them for future practice sessions.

    Cheers!

Hi Loraine! Nice to meet you!

I am starting with the 30 Days to Play course. Even though I’m “coming back” to guitar, it’s been a long time and I never really got a handle on the basics the first time round. I’m thrilled with the program so far! Even just a couple days in.

It has been tough to resist the urge to play up to speed, so I will focus on slowing down. I just tried the “play section” of a lesson at 0.75 speed and that was helpful to get a better feel for the pattern.

Great tip with the & + whole count! That gives me another way to focus on the up / down motion. Thank you!
