So nice! The pick made the sounds clearer for me. Where’s my husband, I could dance to that!

Oh My gosh!!! That’s the first time I’ve heard anyone play with the background music. And I’m thinking….. so that’s what it’s suppose to sound like!!!

Thanks so much. It was really cool!

Home remedies can be great! Try whiskey, lemon juice and honey for a cough. (I used to live in KY)

Congrats!!! When we mature, things happen. I am trying to figure out if I should use readers to see the notes better. Looking down, some strings just mesh together.

    Thanks Carol and Mike!

I didn’t recognize the name of the guitar. It wasn’t a Taylor, Gibson, Martin or Fender. There was a label inside of it. Yamaha?? Not sure. The tag said $299, on sale. The hi E string was bent at the 6th fret so all notes above that sounded the same. But for $30, it was great. The sales person gave me a strap as well as 2 picks. (Allegro Music, 3510 E Bell Rd, Phoenix, AZ.) He was very nice. Rental is the way to go.

We left Phoenix Thursday, 9:30 AM, Phoenix time, arrived in San Antonio, TX, to change planes, then Nashville, TN and finally, drove home, Knoxville, Friday, 12:45 AM, Knox time. Soooo very glad I didn’t have a guitar w/ me.

So now, I’m NOT behind in the challenges and even played for my sister. Sweet moments.

It was the way to go… Thanks to all for your wonderful ideas!!

I’ll be flying back to Knoxville, TN, tomorrow so I’m returning the guitar ($30/month) today. I have practiced every day but one! I have kept up w/ challenges and picked some chords to my sister. I like to do the picking roll on chords. Sounds pretty.

The guitar worked very well. It was so convenient!. (I called another place and they had a Taylor for $75. I asked if that was for a month, and he said a day. LOL. Needless to say too much.)

So I sure do recommend renting a guitar. Great experience and I didn’t lose the guitar skills I have!

    Again, thanks to all!!!

On my way to Allegro Music on Bell Rd in Phoenix. $30/month. I called another place and it was $75/day for a Taylor. So my sister and I are going to Allegro Music to get the $30 one, good enough for a week.

    Good one!!! LOL
