My Guitar Goal

What I'm Focused On Now

I retired at the end of March and at the same time as looking for a new house, and getting the old house ready to sell.  Ended up moving into the new house at the end of April, and have been making improvements in it too, so really busy and chaotic for awhile.  Now things have settled down a lot and only smaller to-do lists left.  So my goal is to start fresh with a new schedule, and turning it into a routine and habit.  I usually worked early in the morning until early afternoon, but now I can incorporate a morning session into my day, which is great since I am a morning person.  And I will continue my evening sessions too.

My Guitar Routine

This is How I TAC

I am retired recently, so I am planning to play twice a day, every day (of course I know that circumstances might interfere with that from time to time, but that’s ok).

I plan to have a morning session, after coffee and watching the news, which will be my trigger to build my habit of playing guitar.  I also plan on a daily evening session after dinner, which was part of my routine before I retired, so it will be easy to continue that session.

My new house has a really large basement rec room with new floors and a fresh coat of paint.  That is where I can watch Acoustic Tuesday on a big screen and I have a guitar on a stand ready to go at all times, and my guitar still right there waiting for me too.  I will switch up the guitar in the guitar stand regularly to keep things interesting and challenging.
