Outline: Given the chords and shuffle have been learned, a bass line will now be introduced, this will help students read tab. Playing single notes up the neck can be intimidating so a single bass line is introduced with a stress on the physical pattern that is created.

Techniques/Concepts: Basic Fretting, Rhythm, Tab, Fretboard Familiarity and Awareness

Outcome/Goal: Student will be able to play the single note bass line repeatedly being mindful of tempo and accuracy of pick direction.
