Hello just working thru this song already done all the work just tuning up the song. I was holding the C note keep it ringing and using my pink to hit the A note then my ring finger hit the G note and dropping into the F cord. well I see I was wrong so I am just hit the C note let it go and dropping as you show us. I need to slow down, I just read the tab and did like that till I saw the video. Sorry

Hiya Tony! I am loving this song! Don’t know how I managed to skip over it.
My question: In section 6 measure 11, I am finding it easier to keep left pinky on the 5th fret and just slide down to 3rd fret with pinky-man. That way, ring finger is automatically hovering over 3rd fret 4th string, staring down that dreaded F-chord…
Makes it better for me to transition over to my nemesis F chord- that is OK to do?
Also, I am wishing this were a longer peice- I find myself adding hammer ons and extra notes- any plans for a full length version on this one?
Thanx, Carol M.
P.S. I STILL haven’t got a Martin guitar ;/
Carol,
Thanks for the question, I think your fretboard navigation way sounds just fine 🙂 I am also happy to hear you are adding hammer ons and things to this tune. I hadn’t thought of adding a full version of this one… until you mentioned it 🙂
Cheers,
Tony
@CarolM Spot on! Exactly what I found worked better. It’s easier to grab that F when the fingers are already down there than from two frets up.
