The quality and format of videos have certainly improved since these early days based on other Song Vault instruction. This one was adequate but pretty raw as of COVID 2020.
Okay! I think I’ve got it!. When in doubt, s l o w way way down and work on it.
Okay. Am I hearing and seeing this correctly? Downstroke beat one is not a full downstroke but a slight down on low E for hammer on then. 2 full down stroke on G chord and 3 is rest with “and” up stroke, 4 down stroke “and” upstroke.
Curious Tony, your index finger is down on the e string and then you lift it while hammering down…can one not leave it on the second fret while hammering on? Is there a reason for lifting it each time?
Ok..just signed on with song vault because I couldn’t afford (right now due to vet bill for my dog) to renew my TAC…is this lesson messed up? I really want to learn this and I see others have commented on it being messed up? I’m happy to come back to it but just need to know when it will be fixed…thank you…
Ok, got how Section 1 and 2 are organized. You verbally explain it in the ‘section’ and then we watch & play along in the slow/medium/fast. Makes sense now. Thanks!
Still needs a fix!
Please fix this!!
Edward,
We have been meaning to refilm this and get this fixed, now with the new site overhaul out of the way we can now make time to do so.
Cheers,
Tony
Please fix the bluegrass lessons.
Merle,
Thank you for reminding us, it is on our list to reshoot this we just haven’t gotten there quite yet. There are some great performances of this in the forum if you are needing some help and of course if you have any specific questions I am here to answer them.
Cheers,
Tony
