  1. Finally got it, but the last run up wants to slow down to keep it clean. Cant do much more on it tonight; my wrist is tight. That was great Tony. I cant wait to try it on the new guitar.

  2. hey tony. just love this but my pinky is always sore. any tips on toughing up the pinky or is it just a matter of time. thanks

  3. getting close!!!… that G walk up is tricky with the up down.I also sometimes hammer on the 2 and 3 on the a.

  4. Hi Tony;
Have always liked this tune since watching your guitar reviews. I have no problem with your “old” video….I got all the parts but do find it’s very easy to suddenly increase speed without realizing it – until it’s too late! Your last bit of advice is key…I plan to tackle each section (slowly! That’s hard for me) til I play correctly consistently then link them together one at a time. The transitions are going to be my stumbling blocks….any possible tips to smooth the transitions out? Thanks again in advance

  5. Hi Tony,
I kind of miss the count off that you usually give. It makes it much easier to get in the pocket when I know when to start.
Thanks for the great stuff. I am especially checking out the flat picking because I’ve never much been involved with it. I’m liking it.
Although with out the practice sheet & reflection I would probably be pulling out my hair;)

    1. Ryc,

Sorry about the lack of counting here, it has been on my list to reshoot this one, but it just hasn’t happened yet. Rest assured it is on the list 🙂

      Cheers,
      Tony

  6. Tony,
On the last lick any reason not to just hammer on the 1,2 on the a string and then do the pullout on the D?
Maybe not quite as articulated but sounds good?
    David

  7. Hey Tony, I noticed that in section 5, the second time you go through the “D” section, you pick the A string. On the full song, both slow and fast, you don’t do this but hit the D string. Is it okay either way? Or was it an oops on section 5? (I kinda liked the base of the A string in that picking series!)

    1. Russ,

Great observation, you can actually hit either the D or A string for the bass note of the D chord, both notes make sense for the chord 🙂

      Cheers,
      Tony

  8. Really digging this. Like the other dudes just speeding up the parts and linking them together. Measures 3-4 are tough for me.
