@John , I bought a Martin D10 to start but upgraded to a Martin D28 a couple months later. I really like the guitar, it’s got a nice base… but, it’s a big guitar, I think I would have been better off with a tad smaller guitar. I recently purchased a Cordoba ½ size for a travel guitar. Nice to practice with, nice soft nylon strings too. As for the Taylor, It a great brand. Now for your Taylor 314ce is that a full size or is it a little smaller, I’m not sure? Next time, I’m at the guitar store I’ll take a look at it. I just read the reviews on it and they all said good things J
