Solid #smallwin with added need to set a goal.
As Finger Picking is a weakness and a focus this year, this has been a good week, and I loved the Sliding into Home. #Smallwin, over 30 minutes of play (both kinds), and the time flew as if not even there.
However, T.J, time to pick a pattern to get “gooder” at. All of these different patterns are building my confidence in the use of my fingers, but not to the point that I am able to actually use them to play something I want. So, best I pick one to use, and then progress on.

I think that’s a great small win and big goal TJ – There definitely are a lot of picking patterns to choose from, but I know you can do it.

Good strategy T.J. Just like chords or anything else we do, to make progress we need to build a block at a time. So far I’ve learned about 4 patterns and I try to practice each of them daily . But I learned them one at a time. BTW I heard that Leo Kottke advises to learn the patterns – then forget the patterns!!🤔
