Fingerpicking a ha!
Sat down tonight with my guitar, after reading “Easy Fingerpicking Lesson: How to Play ” House of the Rising Sun” (Acoustic Guitar email). Now I had played this fingerpicking song for a VOM night, but it was notes on tab. But tonight, oh, beautiful tonight! A connection hit!!!…Tony has been having us do fingerpicking and I was able to fluently do the practices, but…how do I put fingerpicking to songs I wanted to play that only had chord tabs? Between Tony’s Fingerpicking practices and skills classes and “House of the Rising Sun” article….I have been fingerpicking chord tabbed songs all night. It finally came together. Why was it so difficult? Maybe those neurons Tony mentioned in Thursday’s email finally jumped and lit up!!!! Yahoo!
