    1) How many days a week do you practice?

I practice every day, even for just 10 minutes. On my best days I’ll keep my guitar near me while I’m working and strum or pick it during conference calls. I try to login to do the daily challenge every weekday.

    2) What time of day do you play?

My set practice time is early evening around 7 PM, but now that the days are longer that will gradually slide to 8 or 9 PM. I do get in some lunchtime practices too, normally working on the previous night’s challenge. Weekends tend to be longer sessions where I’ll try to work on songs.

    3) Where do you play?

I have a spare bedroom I use as a makeshift den, but when the weather is better I’ll be back out in my screened in patio room with the doors open. Love it!

    4) What was your guitar life like before having a guitar routine & how has implementing a consistent guitar routine helped you? (if possible name 3 ways).

Well I certainly had no routine before TAC and didn’t appreciate the power of a consistent schedule and time commitment. Tony’s right, even the 10 minutes sessions add up!

How has my routine helped me:

    1. Doing my daily challenge and Fretboard Wizard keeps me off YouTube where I get distracted by wanting to learn a new song every time I look.

    2. I try to understand the why, not just the how. Having completed the Fretboard Wizard and listening to Tony in the daily challenge learn sessions I’ve slowly started to piece things together.

    3. I never have to feel like I pick up my guitar and not have anything to play. With the TAC I have the challenges and my favorites to go to.

5.) Bonus Question: What is one non-guitar item that is a must have in your guitar routine? I have to keep my chord diagram handy to refer to when Tony says something in the daily challenge (I, IV and V chords).

Looking Good @David_G . One of the truest things I have read…..”1. Doing my daily challenge and Fretboard Wizard keeps me off YouTube where I get distracted by wanting to learn a new song every time I look.”……..100% my experience as well.

      Thanks Jeff.

I’m in the Syracuse, NY area. Where are you located?

Coming up on my 1 year Taciversary? How long you been in TAC?
