  A bit of good fortune.

  I’m out in BC visiting my son. One of his friends does occasional studio gigs playing drums but he has also played guitar for 30 years.

  He brought over his new Taylor 214 ce and he played a bit with me playing my son’s Yamaha. Then he said he had to go but “I’ll leave the Taylor here for you to play and come back to get it tomorrow. So here is me playing it. A really nice guitar! The only thing I didn’t like was that he uses heavier strings than me but I got over it.

  Thick string or thin, the Taylor is in. Nice serendipity to a trip.
