Getting to be glad that I’m stubborn. Since others have said they do the daily challenges even though they’re not sure if they can do them yet.

So, I started working on the daily challenges yesterday. I got a little frustrated, well angry at times. But I kept working at them and finally got to where I could do them. Not fast and not with a lot of style, and definitely with my share of mistakes, but I can do them. 😋

The fun part is when they cycle back up again next year and you realize how much easier they are this time around when you could barely or not even do them last time. I think I did it for three years now. First year I don’t think I could do any of them

Good going Rando. Frustration was the biggest hurdle I had to overcome before my progress got turbo charged. I got lots of help figuring it out right here in these forums. The hardest one is done as long as you keep going. Some days will be great and others not so great but no matter what there is the lesson tomorrow. Even on the rough ones try to end on a high note however you can. it makes tomorrow’s lesson ever so much easier to get to.

Great win in perseverance! Try not to get angry and frustrated. Just look at them as challenges (wouldn’t learn if the were all easy) and just start slow and build upon each section and trial. You will continue to get it and it will feel great as you see marked improvement just from repetition. Instead of frustration or anger, try replacing with recognition of advancement and joy in the process. Don’t forget the atta boy, high five, and big pat on the back once you get through a lesson. Keep up the great work!

Excellent advice! I have started to realize the value of repetition, especially for the absolute basics. Don’t skip ahead, work work work on the basics and the work will pay off later on.

Chug, chug, chug along until you get that musical song. Good going.

Thanks all. I tried both Monday and yesterday’s lessons early this afternoon. They seemed easier but still not breaking the speed barrier. That’s OK, cuz I’m still doing them.
