Christmas care
In October I committed myself to putting together a Christmas song playlist. Last night I was Master of Ceremonies for a Christmas Party and introduced other players while performing a total of five songs between players. I didn’t do as cleanly as I would have liked from Stage Performance jitters as it was my first time in front of people in a couple of years. I did two songs (Silent Night from Tony’s Old List and Gloria In Excelsis Deo) in Open D. First time to use an open tuning publicly. Also Joy to the World from Tony’s list. So the win was getting to mark things off my personal WOGI list and prepare for January’s checkup.

Congratulations on meeting your goal and in such a big way! That’s awesome that you played in front of others. I have a difficult time just doing videos because of my nerves. To be able to perform in front of others just blows my mind. Good for you!

Hmmmmm? MC’d a Christmas party, and introduced other players; worked up and performed a kind of set list between them; Played for real people; Understood the Open D and difference from Normal; and, pulled it off (probably brilliantly, since we alway underplay our abilities here); clipped some items off the bucket list.
Raises only one question to me. So many #smallwins of huge magnitude, glad there is no upper limit to reporting them. The question, when is your encore?
