21 days on the road
Left my home in Missouri and headed towards Talladega super speedway…
Christmas with sum grandchildren, unloaded a GS mini into the hands of a daughter in law. Made it down to Jay, Florida and did me first carport jam with sum brothers from another mother. Got to play a banjo for the first time, not much, only enuff to git hooked! Two grandaughters and a son had covid, another grandaughter had strep throat and on top of that i git a sinus infection which could have been part of the covid stuff.
Habits… good nutritionals with a great low carb diet… TAC everyday!
Made it home yesterday after a about a 12 hour drive and 4 hours uprighting a dumped Ultra Classic in the trailer. Got home around 10am and had to git the guitar stuff unloaded and a few other things before making it to the Guitar progress party. Tony was trip-n! That was FUN…
Said all that to say this… at sum point over the last year and a half (joined TAC in July 2020) “The Routine” “Consistency” and “You gotta have the want too” has really developed into a romance with the guitar! The truth is i really suck at playing the guitar, butt, i ain’t giving up! B-cuz of that, family and friends are now playing… That is the greatest part of this romance! Sharing the love… and watching it grow!

Way to overcome the barriers to consistency! BTW its ok to take a day off now and then. Your guitar won’t mind and your TAC peeps will stand by you.

Travel is hard on the routine. I’m to take the little Lady on an anniversary trip to France and Spain in May and I’m already confronting how hard it will be to stay consistent. Good win for you.
