I have been messing around with 7 chord shapes, but with a capo on the 3rd fret. I really like the sound of the progression, but am trying to build on finger picking the 7 chord shapes. Of course that changes the chords. The root note of C on the first chord becomes a D#. I am weak on music theory, and the notes in the chord now don’t seem to fit completely D# major or minor (a hybrid?). I just know the notes of that chord, and the progression work well together. This is where collaboration would be nice.

@Bill_Brown Thank you for your encouraging and gracious words! We have partially raised these two; and they still are over here a lot. It is a joy; but they are getting harder to keep up with. 😂
