  • A dedicated guitar for DADF#AD tuning

Posted by Cadgirl on February 13, 2022 at 1:01 pm

Since I recently bought a new Taylor Guitar, my GS mini has been left alone in the corner. Today I tuned it to an alternative tuning. I have been wanting to learn Bob Dylan’s ‘Simple Twist of Fate’ for awhile now and I just ran across ‘Man of Constant Sorrow in D tuning. Now no excuse to try something new.

I sure plan on it @stevieblues . I’m getting intrigued with the TAC members posting their own songs. That might be next on my list. 🙂

@Cadgirl I have a few guitars in alternate tunings that I just use for those tunings. It gets tiresome changing tuning all the time (and forgetting to tune it back to standard tuning when done & wondering why nothing sounds right when I pick it back up). It is a truly great win!

Thanks, I think it really will work out well for me.
