  Feeling overwhelmed

  Where do I begin my journey joined 3 days ago. brand new at this I’am a beginner. Do I just click what is being taught for 21st Feb, or is there a starting point. This seems very overwhelming. Talks about E-string, A string and so forth

  First off- welcome to TAC!

  You are likely to get lots if advice and answers to help you get up & runnin’.

  You came to the right place!— your best friend right now might very well be this- (your)- TAC forum! Look around in here a bit and you’ll likely find others who have had the very same questions as to how to get started- along with big welcomes and many answers and helpful advice.

  There is kind-of a “Uh-oh…. whuddoo I do now- how do I get started?” confusion-period. Maybe it’s because we are all at a DIFFERENT spot in learning when we first come in the door. What might be the right advice for one person might be way ahead-of or way-behind for another. You’ll find your spot in there naturally.

  Poke around in here- it’ll come to you….. And I have a feeling there will be some excellent guidance comin’ your way.

  Have fun with all this- and really ENJOY the sounds that YOU are making!

  Hi Reggie.
  I’m a newbie too. Just started last week. I had the same question. It’s kind of overwhelming, I know. You get flooded with info, some of it sinks in, some just whizzes by.
  Go to your profile and you’ll see a drop down menu and click on Quick Start. I’m pretty sure I heard Tony say this is the place to start. I’ve been going step by step for about 5 days with the 30 Days To Play. I’m putting in about an hour a day. (I had already taken some lessons at a local shop and my fingers were good and calloused). Making progress, slow but sure.

  Hi Reggie, and welcome to the TAC community! Since you’re brand new to guitar, my suggestion would be the Quick Start guide and then the 30 days to play (left side menu). The daily challenges can wait. There’s no hurry to get to them just yet.
