30 Days to play practice routine structure
Posted by Desmoteque on February 22, 2022 at 4:18 amHi all. I have just started the 30 day challenge and loving the journey ahead. I have a question. Week one consists of three exercises. Do I learn these three on day one and then practice each of them every day, or do I just practice the last exercise (Blues Boogie) every day for one week? Thanks so much in advance. André

@Desmoteque Hello; I just happened to come across your question, and since nobody has replied, here’s my opinion:
Start by working at your own steady pace. After you complete the 30 Day course, I believe the next step is the “5 Day Guitar Routine Challenge” before starting the Daily Challenges.
When I first joined TAC, I was unsure how to proceed. I still haven’t quite figured it out. I’m under the impression, there is no set structure. We’re all relying on each other for help, guidance and support.
If you’re still uncertain, post your question again. Maybe a more experienced TAC family member will reply.
Best wishes to you , and good luck on our guitar journey!

Welcome to the TAC community @Desmoteque ! As for how to practice the 30 days to play lessons, my suggestion is to take a lesson and practice it a day or two, then mark it complete and move onto the next lesson. The goal is not for perfection, but for progress. You could mark each lesson complete after playing the minimum 10 minutes. This is your journey, and the 30 days is only meant to be a suggestion. You can take as little or as much time as you like on a lesson. Just remember to keep moving forward and not get stuck on a lesson because you haven’t mastered it. You’ll find that if you have some difficulties on a particular lesson that moving on is the best thing you can do. You may find that when you go back to the lesson that all of a sudden you’re able to play it with little difficulty. Good luck and have fun with it.

@Desmoteque ,Take things at your own pace. Everyone is at a different skill level. @Loraine explained it as good as it is. You’ll progress, and when you go back it will be easier. I also agree with @OhWowMan with suggesting ‘5 Day Guitar Routine Challenge’ afterwards. With the 5-day challenge I started on Monday and did it along side the daily challenge on Monday, Then the 2nd day on Tuesday, etc. That way it follows the course. It made a big difference in how I looked at the daily challenges. There was a big revamping of the site last year. A lot of things changed, but what I saw as good, was being able to find courses and skills a LOT easier. Good luck and ask the TAC community when you hit a road block or just want to post that ‘you got this’.
