Hi @seeks Belated welcome to the TAC community! Sounds like you’re off to a good start. I’m not sure what you need or want to talk about, but I’d be willing to have private messaging discipussion with you. That involves going to your name/icon at the top of the page and clicking the down arrow and then choosing messages, new. You’d then search for me by my username, loraine, and type a message in and hit send. It’s much like email. To know if you’ve received a response to a post or a message, you’ll see a small red icon at the top right of the page next to the small bell symbol. If you click on that it will show you any responses to your posts that you were tagged on (tagged on means using the @ sign with the user name following it) and then choosing that person when the pop up appears) or in a direct message.
As for knowing if you’re improving, you can’t not have improved if you put in the minimum of 10minutes per day or more. Think back to when you first started …. Do you know more than you did then? Do things come a little easier as time goes on (not counting challenging lessons, but foundational skills)? Then you’ve improved. It takes a while to learn the guitar. It’s not an easy instrument to learn, but Tony simplifies the foundational skills and breaks them down to small lessons that are doable.
