Hey @philly14 and belated welcome to the TAC community. I hear your frustration, and I was in a similar position when I first started. @jumpinjeff gave some great advice. Keep trying the daily challenges. I had no experience with guitar when I started, but I find that I’m now able to learn the lessons more quickly and I’m able to play them fairly well now. The lessons rotate, so you’ll see the lessons again in 8+ months. What Imfind is that every time they rotate back around they’re a bit easier to learn and play. Just by trying them, you’re increasing your knowledge and skills. As for the Skills courses, you have a big selection, and as jumpinjeff said there aren’t any more important than others. Whatever peaks your interest should be the driver. Personally, I started with the Jumpstart fingerpicking, flatpicking and strumming courses. I thought they gave a great introduction to those skills. Good luck, have some fun with it, and continue to ask questions in the forums.
