Today I offer up “Mary Brown” (by Dave Alvin) to the forum. I slowed it down a bit so I could play it. The knock on effect was the song runs 4 min and 15 seconds. Sorry about that.

That was a great performance all round. Loving the walking basslines! 🤟😎🎸Just spent an enjoyable 10 minutes playing along with this one a couple of times!

  If your interested in more of Dave Alvin’s music, this song is from an album called “Blackjack David”. Another good album to get a sense of what he is about is “King of California”. Dave fuses blues, rock, surf, punk and Americana. He is a very good song writer and his music contains a number of layered guitar parts.
