I’m new

Hello, I’m new and am excited to improve in my guitar playing. I’ve had a guitar for a long time but only really have tried to learn to play since 2020. I watched episode 259 and was encouraged to join because I love songwriting and thought I would share this video of one of my latest songs and introduce myself.

It’s been a very long hot dry summer in Oklahoma. That’s what kind of gave me the idea for this song.

That was really nice @DM1982 👏👏👏 Welcome to TAC, I enjoyed listening to your performance👍👍🤘 Please keep them coming🤩 IMHO, you should check out the VOM’s associated (but not part of TAC). I hope others will give you the information to get there🎸😎

A VOM is a Virtual Open Mic. If you navigate over to justmusicgeeks.com you will find you have an opportunity to join a group of very welcoming and supportive folks that form a community that uses Zoom to hold VOMs on a pretty regular basis each week.
