The Yamaha FG400 is a great guitar, period. And yes, it’s a great guitar for the money. But it’s a good guitar period.

So, the letter after the FG400. Common is to put an E after which means it has electronics and/or a C which means cutaway. Yours has neither electronics or a cutaway, so it’s “just” an FG400. Many would think that’s actually better.
