Really? Why playing Up is good.
When I first started playing I thought only good players should play the “Good” guitars. That held me back for a while but as I turned into such a guitar geek my need for “Good” guitars way above my playing skill level evaporated and I was hooked. Mostly I blame @Dom. What I discovered today in a most surprising way was when I play every day I get incrementally better every day. Well this has lead me to being able to string some runs together and liberate them into the air. Some of these sounds have been in my head since I was little waiting to be freed. As I start executing heretofore unplayed passages my guitar surprised me and issued forth a sound that was more than what it was playing. It had taken my input and made it better on the output. My guitar surprised me and I suppose it too was surprised. It seems like a living thing. As I keep playing I seem to be accessing some of what the instrument has to say. And when it happens, whoooaaa man it is like falling in love for the first time again. Must be synchronicity. Today is the best guitar day ever.
