  Piano Man by Billy Joel

  Went to the Billy Joel, Stevie Nicks concert a little over a week ago, and I was inspired to learn this song. Not easy when it is being converted from piano to guitar, but it sounds okay and was fun to learn and play. Still working on speed and vocals always need some TLC, but who really cares, right?

    See all the good stuff you’re missing @Moonhare ?! LOL Thank you for the great reaction to my attempt at this Billy Joel classic. It’s a fun song to play and attempt to sing. I always love when the entire stadium sings the song with him. Such a freedom of the soul.

  My overall TAC goal is to be able to play guitar like the piano man plays at the piano bar. He takes a request and we all sing along. So I am delighted you reminded me of this song. I live your carousel 3/4 waltz rhythm.

    Thanks @albert_d . I would love to feel more confident in my playing and especially my singing to just be able to jam with friends outside in the summer or in the fall around a campfire, but I’m not sure I’ll get to that comfort level.
