I’m sure the problem lies with my rusty music-reading abilities, but I have gone through the Blues Shuffle and Boogie, and am curious, does the tablature match what Tony plays on the play along? It does not seem like it matches what he plays.

@legeraghtygmail-com Welcome to the TAC community! I think others may have asked this in the past, if I remember correctly. There are times that Tony may change a note or chord when he’s teaching the lesson. You can play the tab with either, and you’ll be okay.

Okay, and thank you! I had finally just assumed that the first line or 3 bars of music is a refresher for the “parts” you will be using in the following 12 bars of the song. Looks like the bars 4-15 DO match what he is playing in the “play along” video. Thank you again. I am really enjoying the way he has started me off. And I have tried two other on-line teachers in the past.
