So relaxing, after my post trip and grabbing some grub. I will close my curtains and start my daily TAC routine. Then off to bed. Nothing better than a vibrating bed and the small hint of deiseal as my truck sings me to sleep! 😴

What a unique perspective and I love the idea of your guitar as your traveling and work companion. “18 wheels and a dozen roses” vibe.

@outdoorgator I love your office, home, guitar room. I’ll tell you, driving long distance is a rough job. Being on the road everyday, dealing with others on the road, the monotony of the road, and being alone so much. Yes, you talk on the CB or meet up at truck stops, but it’s still a difficult life. I’m so happy you have your guitar and TAC to keep you company. I’ll tell you, the people on the TAC forums helped lift me from a deep depression when I first became a member. It was during Covid, and I was locked in the house working full time and also as a full time caregiver for my mother with Lewy Body dementia, which is the most difficult dementia. I felt so isolated and alone, and if it weren’t for the TAC community and my newfound love of acoustic guitar, I’m not sure how it would have been. I’m not inferring your depressed. I’m actually trying to relay my understanding of what you live with. I’m happy you found us.

Thank you Loraine and thank you for sharing your TAC story. A lot of things have change on the road the last 30 years. Traffic is a big part. just about have the same amount of trucks out here now as cars. You do see a lot of different places and meet different people too. Back in late 90’s I used to do long hauls, out 21 days and back for 7. Now I’m home on weekends and do 2 to 4 lay overs a month, so much better. I am very thankful for Tony and the TAC family. Back in 1992 I was a dabbler with only 3 chords now I’m a guitar player with a bucket of chords and several songs. I owe it all to this great program and the amazing TAC family support. Lots of fun and yes playing guitar to me is a lot like personal therapy too.
