You want to avoid hurting yourself, which happens more often than you would think. I got tendonitis and tennis elbow from not stretching and overuse and pulling on muscles and tendons. Tony does have a great attitude and laid back style. I too like that he preaches progress over perfection. You will grow and get better just by continuing to move forward and not worrying about perfecting it in the early days of playing. Some of these skills are beginner skills, but others are intermediate and advanced, so no wonder we find them challenging.
