Posted by Raffers on November 4, 2023 at 9:05 amHello Everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi. Haven’t had a guitar lesson or played much for fifty years (I know, You can tell right? lol) Saw Tony’s course and thought now I’m retired I will go right back to the beginning and try and get rid of all those bad habits I have collected. Wishing you all well in your guitar journey. If you don’t like the playing at least enjoy the scenery lol.

@Raffers Welcome the TAC family! You’ll fit right back in. You’re smart starting from the beginning and trying to correct old bad habits. Ask questions, post videos, tell is more about you, what motivates you, what guitar(s) you habe and their ages. A large majority of TAC members started playing in later years and retirement. Many, like me, had a dream of always playing, and we jumped on the chance during COVID. Enjoy your journey, and have fun! Thank you for posting a video. Great job on Sundance. You had smooth chord transitions, level strum pattern and timing, nice percussive, and nice vocals!
Keep on plunking!!

Thank you Loraine. Very kind of you. Some great advice as well. Best wishes for your guitar journey too.

From one retired guy to another, I liked both the song and the view. Warning though. Be prepared for people near you to think you are crazy for being so obsessed with all the fun you are having with your guitar journey. They’ll get over it.

Hahaha Thanks Albert. My local radio station DJ signed off today with “The 80’s was the best decade for pop music” I literally laughed out loud at the radio. I guess they are going to come and take me away anytime now. Thank you for your kind comments and keep enjoying your guitar journey.

Wow! That was great! Enjoyed the song and the view! I’ve found that TAC is a great way to stay motivated and not put the guitar away for years at a time! Hope you do too!

That’s very kind of you Janet. I know already that I am going to enjoy being part of the TAC family. So far everyone is very supportive and I hope to be as well. After all, we are all on this guitar journey together. I hope you continue to enjoy the path you are on.
