  So happy!

  This lesson was so satisfying. I have several things I have always just longed to do, but I never had the skill before. I wanted to do that slap thing, I wanted to play the melody at the same time as the chords, and I wanted to play up the neck. Also a couple of successful bar chords. Wow. I am not saying they were all perfect, but I definitely got to do that. I recorded myself, and I’m hoping that when I hear it later I will see improvement. Super happy right now.

  @lollyt Your post simply made me smile. I love when the simple joy of enjoying the process and seeing results makes a person happy and enjoying the journey.

  That’s so fun! Congratulations. I’ve played at guitar since the 70s, and only after joining TAC did I start developing unknown skills that were waiting to be discovered (including picking out those melody lines in chords). Happy small wins!
