I often practice on my electric guitar, because it can be more forgiving than the acoustic when learning. However, the acoustic is still the my main choice.

I love this song, and it reminds me of driving down the road when my daughter was 2 or 3, and she would sing at the top of her lungs the chorus and the line them good old boys were drinking whisky and wine, instead of rye. It was so cute. This is a really long song, so I apologize for that. It doesn’t typically use a capo, but I was experimenting with capoing to raise the pitch of my vocals to where it sounded like I was actually singing and not sing/talking the lyrics. You’ll have to let me know if it sounds okay on capo 4 for my vocals. It felt better singing it on capo 4 that with no capo or even on capo 2 or 3.

    As always, thanks for listening.

Nice job Loraine! that is a challenging song with lots of words to remember and sing but you nailed it! i think capo 4 worked well for your voice, it sounded good👍. really good chord transitions too. Thanks for posting…keep it up!
