Whooo hooo Celebrating my small wins and loving Tac.
I am so happy I joined Tac, although there have been a few days when I felt like whoa this is way beyond me, and other days when I get a little frustrated because I’m not a natural when it comes to taking a plain tab and applying some of the kewl techniques Tony is teaching us. On those days, my mantra becomes…”Trust the process”. What I do know is I’m far better now than I was before joining Tac, and although I played songs and amused myself, they were just strummed and that gets boring after a while.
My small win for this week is I could play the challenge without the backing track. I still need to work on it, as soon as the backing track is put on I get thrown right off., every time.
My other small win is I have shown up and played 78 out of the 78 days I have been a member. I find that so motivating, now I don’t want to miss a day and lose my streak. haha.
I love this program and I know even on improv Wednesday when I want to scream. It is all working its magic and one day I will get it.

@Joyfinder Your post had me smiling … actually chuckling, because I’m the rpexact same way on improv Wednesdays. I only try three scales against the backing tracks occasionally now, but when ai do ai notice it has gotten easier, but does it sound better —. LOL — That’s the million dollar question? Lol. Eh… some day. Really great small wins though! Keep on doing what you’re doing. Slow, steady, moving, forward, and you’ll continue to get better!
