Reaching out in your community
Here is a small win…I live in a very small town in interior British Columbia and have had great difficulty finding someone to jam with. My wife recommended I join a local facebook group and see if there was anyone in the same situation. There was an immediate response from a guy living nearby who was very motivated to get together. Turns out he has played in bands in the past and had simply put the guitar down for a period. I am hoping that he and I will manage to play together and that we can share what we know…most likely I will be the one who learns from him. I am enjoying the challenges and growing each week!
