I kind of rushed through the Intro portion of TAC and completed 30 Days to Play & 5 Day Routine in 30 days by going 7 days a week.
This was was week 2 for me in Daily Challenge. By Wednesday I was
feeling like maybe I jumped in too soon meaning I should have spent a
few more weeks in the skill courses honing my skills and practicing
    fundamentals.

My focus now is just on finding some nuggets in each session to take with me and not worry about completing every lesson or feel disappointed. I realize there are all levels of players including seasoned TAC members that are doing these exercises and also need to be challenged. So obviously I’m not going to be able to grasp each lesson, much less master it! So that’s my WIN for the week. I also bought a new guitar which is a huge win for me, it arrived on Monday. I call her “99”.

That’s the correct attitude. Just take from the challenges what you can and move on. I’ve been here a year and I found this past week’s challenge difficult. But even though I was able to do the whole thing I got a few little pieces from it. I should do even better next time it comes around.

You nailed it! Always look for the silver lining. There is always something positive, whether it be playing a clean chord, playing a scale, completing a lesson, and so much more. By finding something positive, you will actually be in a better position for success than many others that give up before the miracle happens. The first 3 years can be rather stressful and daunting, as you learn the foundational skills necessary to really play well. But then all of a sudden this things just start falling into place, and you’re able to play things that were a struggle before. It’s so much fun when it happens.
