    WOW!

It’s so crazy when I look back at these last 2 year’s!! Thanks to Tony’s Acoustic Challenge and the TAC family, I’m here, now looking back at an amazing 2 year’s anniversary!!

Now is the time to look forward to my next year or should I say the rest of my acustic guitar journey in life!

    Yes I said LIFE!!!

I just became a life member yesterday!!!

This does say alot about the Tony’s Acoustic Challenge and this wonderful TAC support family.

There are so many challenges, Monday through Friday to work on. I realized something the other day when I noticed that I’ve gone through all the challenges already several times now.

    1. I have a choice, move on to someone or something different.

    2. Or push myself outside of my comfort zone on each challenge and work harder on each technique. While saving all the pieces of gold I find along my journey to build my tool bag full of, licks, riffs, chords and chord transitions along with several types of playing techniques, I can add to my acustic life style of playing.

See it’s up to you as an individual guitar player to choose your path. I choose a lifetime path with TAC because I know I will be able to grow and proceed with all TAC has to offer.

When you’re working on your acustic guitar journey try not to stay focused on just the music. Dig deeper into the technique of the music. You will be surprised at how much alot of these lick, riffs, bass runs, strumming patterns and chords transitions transfers over to a ton of songs. It’s up to you on how far, how deep you go into Tony’s Acoustic Challenge.

No one else can layout your journey for you. You must map out your journey along the way for you and you only!

That’s freaking awesome. I quite TAC the first time I joined after about 6 months. I was pretty green, and most of the challenges were so difficult for me, I got frustrated. Then I did two years of private lessons. Well, I rejoined TAC just over a year ago. There really is so much here for the value, and you can take the lessons as far as you want. I don’t do private lessons anymore, but also check out other ways of learning. There is so much out there. A lot of crap as well. Keep on jammin!

Thanks for that perspective. I’m six months in but I look at myself as “a Lifer” at this point. So much value here!

I commend your choice of paths and validate your decision with my personal experience. Life’s journey is hard but better with a guitar strapped to your back. Happy New Year.

Congratulations @outdoorgator . I like the gold analogy! Before I found TAC I was digging like a mad man…..barely a shred of gold……then I find Tony…….and he shows me where to dig. Still takes a ton of energy to learn this thing but every time I scoop a shovel of earth, because I have been shown where to dig, I find nuggets.
It gets better and better the further into the acoustic life you go. You got it!!! You have the mind set for the fingers to follow.

Hey, Rodney, man, that’s awesome. Congratulations on your 2 year TACiversary!!

I am always amazed when I have an anniversary and look back from the time I first started to where I currently am, and i’m in awe.

I like the contemplation you put into making the decision to becoming a life member and on whether you could still grow from the process that Tony offers. I like that. Your challenge now is to look more add building upon the foundational skills that you were taught here and to realize that there is so much more to learn and apply as a whole in your journey. And TAC is a journey, not a destination.

Congratulations on becoming a lifetime member and welcome to our club!

Congratulations on your 2nd year anniversary! Wow! Thank you for summing up what it means to be on this guitar journey. There’s so much. I’m about 3 weeks away from my 1st anniversary and I’ve only scratched the surface. I’ve became a “lifer” as well because I realize early on that I needed to reexamine these lessons to obtain the hidden gems of wisdom in them. First time through is not enough. So again, congratulations on your guitar journey and many, many more anniversaries to come. Never stop learning!
